The Belgian designer Nedda El-Asmar is behind the innovative design Appetize.

The inspiration of the cutlery's form is borrowed from the oval and clear shape of the Japanese tea plant leaf.

Nedda El-Asmar puts great emphasis on cutlery having a function, which must fit well in the hand, but at the same time must have a beautiful visual design and be inviting. Appetize meets all these requirements - and the name lends itself to delicious hors d'oeuvres and exciting starters.

In 2006, Gense received Swedish award "FORMEX Formidable Grand Prix 06." The companies and designers who receive this award are nominated for having the best Scandinavian design and quality products!
